As for pin-operated machines, there’s a shoulder press/chest press, chest/rear delt flys, leg extension/curls and a lat pull-down machine. There’s also a dual cable machine with plenty of handles and even a Smith machine with plenty of weight-plates!
 
In terms of cardio equipment, there’re two cross-trainers, eight treadmills, two stationary bikes and two rowing machines.
 
Accessories a Bosu ball, medicine balls (up to 22 lbs/10 kgs), yoga mats, slam balls, foam rollers, exercise balls, yoga blocks and plyo boxes. Most of these are stored in a separate yoga/stretching room.

The hotel gym is open 24/7.
There’s an indoor pool with more limited opening hours.
The hotel gym consists of two rooms – a bigger room which is easy to find and a smaller room just on the opposite side of the hallway. That’s where dumbbells and barbells as well as the Smith machine is located. If it wasn’t for another guest turning on the light in that room, I would’ve totally overlooked this part!
It was nice to see they had a Smith machine and a cable machine.

Yes, it’s vey likely! With the additional room, the hotel gym has a lot to offer!

As for cardio equipment, there’re three stationary bikes, two cross-trainers and five treadmills.

It would’ve been nice if there’d been a cable machine. However, I was positively surprised to see that they had a Smith machine.

I was happy to see that they had a dual cable machine. However, the range of attachments were limited to D handles and a single rope. It would’ve been nice with more options.
I was also positively surprised to see that they had a Smith machine with a fair range of weight plates.

There’re two dual cable machines – including the TechnoGym Kinesis – as well as a range of pin-operated machines: seated leg press, lat pull down, seated row, leg extension, chest press and shoulder press.
There’s even a Smith machine!
 
As for cardio equipment, there’s a spinning-like bike, two stationary bikes, two cross-trainers, a rowing machine, four treadmills including a manual version and a stair-master.
 
There’s also a pretty wide range of accessories covering medicine balls, slam balls (up to 20 lbs/9 kgs), foam rollers, exercise mats, exercise balls and even a Bosu ball.

It’s spacious and everything is clean and in perfect working condition.
It would’ve been nice if there’d been more handles for the cable machine – they only had two sizes of D handles…

It’s spacious, well-lit and well-equipped! However, it could’ve been nice with more handles for the cable machine and a bench press/squat rack setup.
 
The cardio section is overlooking a fairly big indoor pool and there’s a spacious area dedicated to yoga/stretching and floor exercises.
 
At the time of my visit which was early in the morning, I didn’t see any complimentary towels or water. Maybe it’s available at the front desk just outside the hotel gym which wasn’t staffed when I was there?

There’s one small barbell with a few weight plates too.
There’s also a multi-gym making it possible to do lat pull-downs, seated rows, flat and incline bench presses, lying leg curls, seated leg extensions, etc.
 
As for cardio equipment, there’re three treadmills, two cross-trainers and two stationary bikes.
 
Accessories cover exercise mats, an exercise ball and a pair of yoga blocks.

The hotel gym is open 24/7 – you gain access using your room card.
The temperature was quite cold when I used the hotel gym in the morning and it took a while before the AC caught up. However, I guess it just makes you work harder to keep warm!?
I was a bit disappointed that the range of dumbbells wasn’t wider and I prefer separate machines compared to the rather old-school multi-gym.
That being said, the hotel gym itself was clean and equipment well-maintained and in good working order.

Not sure! The hotel itself is nice, but I probably expected a bit more from the hotel gym itself.

Opening hours are from 10am to 10pm. If you ask me, this is close to useless! Every hotel gym should be open 24/7! Only at my second stay, I managed to persuade the front desk to open at 7am. It shouldn’t be that much of a hassle…
 
The equipment itself is in close to perfect condition and the hotel gym nice and clean.
 
It would’ve been nice with a couple of rope handles for the cable machine and maybe a bench press/squat rack, but then again – it is a hotel gym, not your local gym.
That being said, I was positively surprised to see they had a Smith rack.

No – not because of the hotel gym itself, but simply because the close to useless opening hours!

There’s a wide range of weight-based machines – for example, incline leg press, V squat, leg press, leg curl, leg extension, chest/rear delt flys, chest press, lat pull-down and shoulder press.
There’s even a Smith machine and a dual cable machine.
 
As for cardio, there’re eight treadmills, two cross-trainers, four stationary bikes and two rowing machines.

The hotel gym is open from 6am to 11pm, as I recall.
All equipment looks very new and the hotel gym was clean.
In general, I was positively surprised to see the wide range of equipment available – especially all the machines targeting the lower body. Very few hotel gyms have an incline leg press, for example!
It would’ve been nice if the dumbbells had been a bit heavier and if there’d been a wider selection of handles for the cable machine, but all in all it was surely workable.
 
Based on the hotel gym, would you stay at this hotel next time you’re in the area?
Yes, it’s very likely! Although the hotel staff understands very little English which is super odd considering it’s a well-know hotel chain, the hotel gym is close to perfect.

It’s spacious, equipment appears relatively new and well-maintained.
It would’ve been nice if there’d been a squat rack, a barbell bench press setup or a seated leg-press machine and if they dumbbells had gone a little higher. However, for a hotel gym, it was still pretty good.

Yes! It’s a spacious and very well-equipped hotel gym!

There’s a limited range of dumbbells maxing out at 33 lbs/15 lbs, but there’s no adjustable bench – only a wobbly back extension bench.
 
As for cardio equipment, there’s a treadmill and a spinning-like bike.
 
Besides this, there’s an exercise ball.

Does the hotel gym offer complimentary water? No.

On the plus side, the hotel gym is open 24/7. However, the downside – and it’s weighing much more than the opening hours – is that the hotel gym is way too under-equipped.
Considering the space available, there’s little chance of that changing anytime soon, since there’s not much/any space for further equipment. Maybe you could squeeze in a squat rack and/or bench press setup, but that’s it.
 
Based on the hotel gym, would you stay at this hotel next time you’re in the area?
No – the hotel gym is simply too small and way too under-equipped. Considering that the hotel has the kindest hotel manager who did whatever she could to make my stay as good as possible, I wish I could “repay” them by rating their hotel gym much better, but it’s simply not up to par.
