There’s a nice selection of dumbbells (up to 60 lbs/27 kgs) and kettlebells (10, 20 and 30 lbs/4, 9 and 13 kgs) and a pair of adjustable benches to work with.
There’s also a dual cable machine.
 
In terms of cardio equipment, there’re three treadmills, a stationary bike, a cross-trainer, a stair-master and even a Peloton bike!
 
Accessories cover exercise mats, exercise balls and a slam ball.

Opening hours are from 5:30am to 10pm.
The hotel added a cable machine since my last visit. The number of attachments is limited, but I was still able to get in a good upper body workout.
There were lots of cardio equipment and a nice area segmented for dumbbell work.
However, I wish they had a Smith machine and barbells rather than just dumbbells.

They had kettlebells and dumbbells (up to 30 lbs/13 kgs). There’s also an adjustable bench which, however, is difficult to use and likely to be “shared” with the Smith machine or the cable machine.
 
As for cardio equipment, there’re two treadmills, two cross-trainers and three stationary bikes.
 
Accessories include exercise mats, exercise balls and a Bosu ball.

Overall, the hotel gym had a bright and welcoming feeling. It could do with some maintenance though: Although I was happy to see they had this equipment, the Smith machine is rusty and the attachments on the cable machine are old.

Not sure – the hotel is supposed to be a luxury hotel, but they hotel gym is out of place. It needs paint and some TLC.

It’s a very tiny hotel gym. Two people could comfortably fit in here if one was doing cardio equipment and the other was doing dumbbells.
Cardio equipment was okay, but it’s disappointing that dumbbells were all over the place. The cable machine was also okay, but not too great on attachments.
It would’ve been nice to have had something to clean the equipment with…
It smelled horrible from the chlorine in the pool area.

In terms of weight-based machines, there’s a machine for leg curls and leg extensions as well as shoulder presses. There’s also a lat pull-down cable machine with handles for rows, triceps extensions, biceps curls, etc.
There’s a separate room with kettlebells (5 to 70lbs/2 to 34 kgs) and dumbbells (5 to 50 lbs/2 to 22 kgs) along with three adjustable benches.
There’s even a barbell bench press/squat rack setup!
 
Cardio equipment covers three treadmills, two cross trainers and two stationary bikes.
 
As for accessories, there’re exercise mats, step benches, foam rollers, a Bosu ball leg-raises station and medicine balls.

Does the hotel gym offer complimentary water? Yes.

The hotel gym was super spacious and had a ton of equipment variety which was good for getting a more complete workout in. It’s not a super new facility, but way bigger than most hotel gyms and equipment was still in pretty good shape.

I was happy to see they had a barbell bench/squat rack with a chin up bar. However, it’s quite a walk through the building from the guest rooms.

Since there’s only a seated leg press machine, it would’ve been nice if they’d had more machines – for example, lat pull-down, leg extension/curl and shoulder/chest press.

Pin-operated machines include shoulder presses, chest presses, seated leg presses and leg curls. There’s also a cable machine with a solid selection of different handles.
In total, there’re four squat racks with bumper plates!
 
As for cardio equipment, there’re several treadmills, cross-trainers, stationary bikes and stair masters.

It’s a beautiful hotel gym!
However, I would’ve preferred if it was open 24/7 hours, so I could use before an early flight. It would also have been nice if they’d had a leg extensions machine. That being said, I was surprised to see how many squat racks they had.
Housekeeping was good and machines were well-maintained.
From what I understand, many of the professional sports teams stay at this hotel when they come and train at the hotel gym.

Yes! It’s by far the best hotel gym I’ve ever used in Edmonton.
